Em época de crise, mesmo blog, mas com motor recauchutado
Para não fugir ao clichê, aproveitei os feriados de final e início de ano para atualizar o WordPress e fazer uma limpeza básica no blog (troca de temas, desabilitação/habilitação de plugins, etc). Ainda estava utilizando a versão 2.3.2 e atualizei direto para a versão 2.7.
Aparentemente, tudo foi bastante tranquilo. Demorei mais para fazer backups (como medida de precaução, não que fosse algo estritamente necessário) do que para concluir totalmente o processo de atualização. A equipe do WordPress está de parabéns por tornar a experiência de atualização algo bastante suave, ainda mais em meu caso, com um pulo de uma versão jurássica diretamente para a última.
Agora que o WordPress está usando e abusando de conceitos Web 2.0/AJAX tudo ficou mais intutito. A interface de postagens, por exemplo, ficou bem mais amigável em minha opinião. Outra novidade foi que o ScribeFire voltou a funcionar 100% agora, mas com as melhorias sensíveis na interface de postagens provavelmente vou acabar abandonando-o.
Quem sabe agora com as novas facilidades eu não me anime a voltar a postar com maior frequência ?

Sorry. I think I fixed it now by properly tagging my last post as a portuguese written one.
I tend to separate my posts using a tag/category for english and portuguese, but I clearly forgot to do it this time.

So, just create an english *category* and put the *atom* feed in the planet. RSS doesn’t work well.

First af all, nice to read you as well. I’ve already created a *debian* category in the past and back then I was using it to differentiate posts which should go to Planet Debian from those which shouldn’t.
But somewhere in the middle of these WordPress updates something made access to non-permalinks addresses fail and it went unnoticed for almost a year, as I wasn’t posting anything for this whole period.
Now that I resumed posting again, the first post made it obvious that something was wrong. I already asked Planet Debian admins to point to the category feed and they already made the change (these guys are fast) so I think that everything is fine again.
Anyway, thanks for the suggestion.
